The Rotaract Club of InBhadra organized a special event called “Happy Smile.” As part of this program, we visited an orphanage to celebrate the birthdays of our fellow Rotaractors. We shared joy by cutting a cake together, distributing bananas, and arranging a delicious dinner for the children. Beyond the food, we spent quality time with them—playing games, sharing stories, and creating memorable moments filled with laughter and happiness. This small act of kindness truly brightened their day, and in return, their innocent smiles filled our hearts with immense joy and satisfaction.

The session began with setting up the space for the children and guiding them to settle in comfortably. Each child was then given clay, and we first demonstrated how to make a Ganesha idol, after which we created the idols together with them.

Doctors Day Celebration
Professional doctors spearhead vital health awareness efforts by conducting community outreach, organizing screenings, and delivering educational talks in local settings like schools, community centers, and rural clinics. They clarify critical issues—such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer prevention, hygiene, and mental health—with clear, evidence-based messages tailored to diverse audiences. Through partnerships with public health departments, nutritionists, and NGOs, doctors amplify outreach via workshops, health camps, and mass media campaigns. These efforts aim to empower people with timely knowledge, debunk myths, promote healthy habits, and encourage preventive behaviors that ultimately reduce disease burden in communities.

Club Orientation
On July 20, 2025, our club came together at Lamakaan in Banjara Hills for a truly memorable orientation event. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with energy—just the right setting to kick off another year of working and growing together as a club.
We started by diving into what really makes Rotary special, talking about the heart of our work: the Rotary Foundation, Rotaract, and Interact. It was inspiring to be reminded of the big-picture vision and the impact we can have, not just locally but all around the world. Hearing our mission and vision spoken with such passion really brought home why we’re all here: to serve, to connect, and to make a difference.
The session was also a chance for everyone—new faces and familiar ones alike—to understand how the club runs and what’s expected of each of us. We clarified the rules, responsibilities, and most importantly, the value of every single member’s participation. As ideas and stories flowed, it was obvious that real results come when everyone gets involved and shares their voice.
We made sure the day wasn’t all business, though! There were plenty of fun activities sprinkled in to break the ice and help new members feel at home. The laughter and friendly competition really helped us bond, and I know those moments will help us work even better as a team in the future.
One of the best parts of the day was an open discussion about all the possibilities for the coming year. The room was buzzing as people shared creative ideas for events and projects. It’s clear that everyone’s excited about what’s ahead, and we can’t wait to bring those plans to life.
A huge thank you goes out to GRR-2 Sanjana and Rtr. Kiran from the Rotaract Club of East. Their support, words of wisdom, and joyful spirit were the cherry on top, making the day even more special for all of us. We’re so grateful they could join us and help set a positive tone for the year.
All in all, this orientation laid the groundwork for strong friendships, learning, and meaningful service. We’re heading into 2025–26 with renewed enthusiasm, ready to make a positive impact together.
