

Care Beyond Boundaries
The Rotaract Club of Mahindra University proudly contributed ₹10,000 to Angelic NGO as part of its commitment to social responsibility and community service ‘Care Beyond Boundaries’. This initiative was aimed at supporting the welfare of rescued and sheltered puppies under the NGO’s care. The donation will assist in providing food, medical aid, and better living conditions for the animals, ensuring they receive the love and care they deserve. Through this effort, the club hopes to inspire students to extend compassion not only towards people but also towards animals, creating a more empathetic and responsible community.

Share, Care, Smile
Rotaract Club of Villa Marie Degree College joined “Share, Care, Smile”, a donation drive hosted by Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Himayathnagar. Our club donated an amount of ₹3,000 that went entirely towards groceries for the little girls at Radha Kishan Balika Bhavan, Nanal Nagar. We began with distributing bananas and chips and the experience of having conversations while witnessing the shared love and laughter between the kids was overwhelming. The event contributed to our goal of helping children and we had a wonderful time working as a team to bring a change.

Free Medical camp
On August 24th, the Rotaract Club of Inbhadra hosted a free medical camp, in collaboration with Dr. Vijay Kumar, Dr. Sowmya, Dr. Pavan Kumar, and Dr. Vibhav Venkatesh. The event drew a large number of participants, all of whom received health screenings and valuable medical guidance. Attendees benefited from consultations, health advice, and follow-up recommendations. Many expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality, professional care, and increased health awareness. The camp reinforced our commitment to community well-being and inspired future outreach efforts.

Awareness on Eco-friendly ganesh idols
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Rotaract Club of Inbhadra organized a rally on 25th August to promote the use of eco-friendly Ganesh idols. The event aimed to create awareness about protecting our environment by avoiding harmful chemicals and Plaster of Paris, and encouraging idols made of natural clay that dissolve easily in water without causing pollution. This initiative not only preserves our traditions but also safeguards rivers, lakes, and aquatic life for a healthier future.”

Fal - e - Azadi - A fruit distribution drive
On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, the Rotaract Club of Utkarsh proudly organized “Fal-e-Azadi” – a meaningful fruit donation drive aimed at spreading health, joy, and a sense of belonging. The event was held on 15th August 2025 at Sadhana Institute for Mentally Challenged, Nacharam, where our members came together to celebrate freedom in its truest sense—by sharing and caring.
To keep the spirit of Independence alive, fruits in the colors of the national flag were thoughtfully chosen—fresh oranges and guavas. These not only carried nutritional value but also symbolized the vibrancy, unity, and hope of our nation. With warmth and affection, our Rotaractors personally interacted with the children, ensuring that the drive was not just about distribution, but about creating a moment of togetherness.
The atmosphere was filled with cheerful smiles, heartfelt gratitude, and genuine connections. The children’s laughter and excitement gave deeper meaning to the initiative, reminding us that the smallest gestures often carry the greatest impact.
Through “Fal-e-Azadi”, we discovered that freedom is not only about independence but also about compassion, inclusivity, and collective growth. The event concluded with a renewed commitment to continue such acts of service, keeping the spirit of giving alive in every endeavor of RAC Utkarsh.

Utensils donation
The Rotaract Club of KMIT recently organized a meaningful donation drive, where our members came together to contribute utensils to Manchi Kalalu Organisation. This initiative was undertaken to support the organisation in their noble work of helping and uplifting underprivileged communities.

Slay The Plastic
The objective of the event was to create awareness on plastic waste management and to encourage students to contribute towards environmental sustainability.
A collection point was set up at the Wall of Kindness (beside Freshchoice) where students and faculty could drop items such as plastic bottles, cans, covers, and paper.
The initiative received good participation from the college community, with many actively contributing recyclable materials. The campaign emphasized that even small contributions can collectively create a meaningful impact. Slay The Plastic successfully promoted the importance of responsible disposal and recycling, reinforcing the message of working together for a cleaner and greener environment.

Nature Bandhan
Nature Bandhan – A Raksha Bandhan with a Green Twist
On 10th August 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM, the Rotaract Club of St. Ann’s College for Women celebrated Raksha Bandhan through a unique initiative, Nature Bandhan, at Radha Kishan Balika Bhavan, Nanalnagar. The event aimed to spread joy, build meaningful connections, and promote the values of love and care beyond traditional boundaries.
Members were greeted by the children’s warm smiles, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with happiness. The celebration included engaging ice-breaker sessions, interactive games, and heartfelt conversations, creating bonds rooted in compassion and mutual respect. In keeping with the “green” theme, the activity also emphasized the importance of nurturing not just relationships, but also our environment and community.
The visit left both members and children with cherished memories and reinforced the belief that service extends to protecting and uplifting those around us — whether through kindness, environmental awareness, or shared moments of joy. Service Project - Spreading Smiles
Rotaract Club of Mahindra University, on a heartwarming afternoon, visited an orphanage and senior citizens’ home with a mission to spread smiles and share moments of joy. What started as a simple service visit turned into an unforgettable day filled with laughter, dance, and heartfelt connections.
The day began with interactive games that brought together children and elders, creating a beautiful bridge between generations. From musical chairs to Tambola, everyone participated with infectious enthusiasm.
The visit wasn’t just about entertainment; it was about listening, engaging, and being present. Club members spent quality time conversing with the residents, learning their stories, and sharing our own. As we left, we didn’t just take photographs or memories — we carried with us the joy of giving and the bonds we built.
This project stood as a beautiful reminder of what can happen when hearts come together for a purpose — echoing this year’s Rotary theme: Unite for Good.

Our Rotaract Club of St. Peter’s Engineering College organized a meaningful Sapling Plantation on 30th July 2025 in the presence of District Governor Rtn. Dr. S.V. Ram Prasad, the Rotary District President, and their esteemed team. This event was conducted with the aim of promoting environmental sustainability and encouraging the habit of nurturing nature among students and youth.
A total of 20 Rotaractors actively participated, planting multiple saplings across the campus and contributing 20 service hours dedicated to environmental sustainability.
The event began with a formal welcome and a group interaction session where the district leaders shared their insights on leadership, environmental responsibility, and the impact of collective service. Their motivating words inspired all Rotaractors to stay committed to community development and green initiatives.
Following the session, saplings were planted within the campus premises by the dignitaries, faculty, and Rotaract members. Each sapling symbolized growth, responsibility, and a better future. The enthusiastic participation of the club members made the event a great success.
This initiative strengthened the bond between Rotary and Rotaract and aligned with our core value of “Service Above Self.” The club is grateful to the district leadership for their support and guidance, and we look forward to continuing our journey of service with more impactful projects

Paint With Puppies
The “Paint with Puppies” event was organized with the aim of raising awareness about animal rescue and adoption, particularly focusing on the urgent need for care and shelter for rescue puppies. The initiative also aimed at fundraising for the professional care and medical support of these animals through the NGO, Angelic.
To bring people closer to the cause in an engaging and heartfelt way, the Rotaract Club of
Mahindra University conducted a unique painting session alongside adorable rescue puppies. This interactive and therapeutic event took place at Madikeri Craft Coffee, providing a perfect blend of creativity and compassion.
The puppies were brought in by Angelic, an NGO dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating
animals in distress. The ambiance allowed participants to relax, engage in art, and spend time with the puppies promoting adoption and support for the cause.

FRIENDSHIP DAY
We, the Rotaract Club of St. Peter’s Engineering College celebrated a joyful and heartfelt Friendship Day
at Auxilium Navajeevana Orphanage on 3rd August 2025,
marking a day filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.
As a symbol of this beautiful bond,
we tied friendship bands to the lovely children, shared warm moments, and cherished the joy with chocolates and biscuits. Their innocent smiles and heartfelt gratitude made the day incredibly special for all of us.
This event served as a beautiful reminder of the true spirit of friendship one that transcends all boundaries and speaks the language of kindness and compassion.
We are proud to share that a total of 6 dedicated Rotaracters participated in this event, collectively contributing 12 service hours.

Project Dharani - Breastfeeding Awareness

Our first-ever community service initiative was a heartfelt success!
Our journey began with Project Dharani – a Breastfeeding Awareness Program, held at Moinabad RHC on August 5th.
Starting at 11:00 AM, the workshop covered:
The importance of breastfeeding for the first 1000 days
Awareness about breast pumps and lactation management units
We had an engaging interaction with the ASHA workers, offering deeper insights into maternal health and infant nutrition.
To wrap up, we distributed 1000-day checklist postcards to the ASHA workers, empowering them with tools to spread awareness in their communities.

Project Pragnya - BSE Awareness
Project Pragnya – BSE Awareness at Narsingi PHC
On 7th August, 11 AM, under Project Pragnya , the Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Visionaries conducted an impactful Breast Self-Examination (BSE) Awareness Session at Narsingi PHC.
The event began with an insightful explanation of what BSE is and why it’s vital. for women’s health, followed by a live demonstration of the technique. All doubts were addressed, ensuring every participant felt confident and informed.
Several ASHA workers stepped up to demonstrate BSE themselves, turning the session into a truly interactive and empowering experience.
With 40–50 enthusiastic ASHA workers in attendance, the atmosphere was *fun-filled, educational, and inspiring.
To make sure the awareness continues beyond the session, informative pamphlets were distributed so that participants could take the knowledge home and share it further in their communities.
