Dhoom Dham Dandiya
There was something in the air at Classic Gardens, Secunderabad on the evening of September 20th. The moment you stepped in, you could hear the steady rhythm of the dhol, see the shimmer of colorful chaniya-cholis and kurta, and feel a wave of excitement rising.
The Event Dhoom Dham Dandiya — not just a cultural night, but one of the most spirited celebrations hosted by Rotary and Rotaract District 3150.
By the time the music picked up, the venue was buzzing with over 400 Rotaractors, families, and friends. Everywhere you looked, people were smiling, greeting old friends, and twirling their dandiya sticks in sync with the beats. It felt less like an event and more like the entire city had come together to celebrate Navratri.
But what made the night truly special was that every twirl had a purpose. The funds raised from the event were dedicated to Girl Child Development and Environmental Protection, turning a festive night of dance into a powerful statement of service. We weren’t just dancing for fun; we were dancing to make a difference.
The energy was infectious. The vibrant decorations, the glittering lights, and the constant pulse of traditional Garba and Dandiya songs set the perfect mood. Groups kept growing as more people joined in, strangers became partners on the dance floor, and laughter echoed as everyone found their rhythm. It was the kind of night that reminds you why cultural traditions still bring communities closer.
What added to the pride of the evening was how far its impact reached. Dhoom Dhaam Dandiya was more than a city-side gathering — it was a mass celebration with strong visibility across Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Ranga Reddy, carrying the message of joy blended with responsibility.
As the music finally slowed and the last beats faded, there was a shared sense of fulfillment. We had come together for a night of dance, but we left with a memory of unity and a promise of positive change.
For everyone who was there, Dhoom Dhaam Dandiya 2025 wasn’t just another festive event ,it was proof that celebration can be a force for good, and that a night of dance can leave a legacy of hope.
