The Rotaract Club of St. Ann’s College for Women, RID 3150, proudly participated in a meaningful District 3150 Initiative dedicated to supporting the elderly through the donation of wheelchairs. As part of this initiative, the club visited Happy Homes Old Age Home, where members engaged with the residents, listened to their life stories, and shared moments of warmth, laughter, and reflection.
During the visit, the club donated six wheelchairs as a gesture of goodwill and care, aiming to enhance the mobility, comfort, and independence of the residents. This contribution reflected the spirit of compassion and inclusivity, bringing smiles and a renewed sense of dignity to the elderly. The visit also provided Rotaractors with an opportunity to understand the value of empathy and human connection, reminding them of the importance of serving with heart and humility.
