The Rotaract Club of Osmania Medical College successfully organized a RRR (Respond โข Rescue โข Revive) event during BEATS โ our annual college fest ๐ as part of the Health Run ๐โโ๏ธ initiative. The event aimed to educate participants on life-saving skills and emergency response, ensuring everyone could act confidently during critical situations.
The training was structured into three interactive skill stations ๐ฏ:
๐น Station 1: Hypothermia โ๏ธ, Heat Stroke โ๏ธ, Electric Shock โก, Burns ๐ฅ, Poisoning โ ๏ธ
๐น Station 2: Wound Care ๐ฉน, Splints ๐ฆด, Slings, Fracture Management, Snake Bite ๐, Dog Bite ๐ถ
๐น Station 3: Seizures โก, Choking ๐ซ๐ด, Epistaxis ๐, Vertigo ๐, Scene Safety ๐ธ, CPR โค๏ธโ๐ฉน
A proud moment of the event was training the DSP and other police officials ๐ฎโโ๏ธ๐ฎโโ๏ธ, empowering them with critical emergency response skills to save lives in real scenarios.
Through hands-on practice and live demonstrations ๐คฒ, students, faculty, and fest attendees actively participated, gaining confidence to Respond, Rescue, and Revive in emergencies.
๐ก Hosting the RRR event during a large-scale festival emphasized the importance of health awareness and preparedness, reaching a wide audience and reinforcing the spirit of community service.
