The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Visionaries successfully organized a special community outreach event on 19th October 2025, in celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights.
In collaboration with the WIN foundation, the event was held at a Government School in Jubilee Hills, where around 30 children participated in an engaging and educational session.
The initiative was jointly led by the club’s professional-developement and Community services avenues, combining learning with creativity and celebration. The professional-developement department conducted an insightful awareness session on fire safety and burn prevention, emphasizing the importance of responsible celebrations and first-aid readiness during the festive season.
Following this, the Community services team hosted a joyful Diya painting activity, allowing the children to express their creativity while embracing the spirit of Diwali. The event beautifully merged education with festivity, fostering both awareness and happiness among the young participants.
Through this initiative, the Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Visionaries aimed to spread light not only through lamps but also through knowledge and care, reflecting the true essence of Rotaract’s values — service Above Self, learning, and compassion.
