The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Visionaries had the privilege of participating in the Pink Picnic 2025, an inspiring community event organized by the Department of Oncology, KIMS Hospitals, in collaboration with various partners, to promote breast cancer awareness and encourage preventive healthcare.
Held on 26th October 2025 at the Botanical Gardens, Kondapur, the event brought together families, health professionals, and volunteers to advocate for early detection, healthy living, and collective support for those affected by cancer.
A total of 28 Rotaractors from our club volunteered for the initiative, assisting in event coordination, participant engagement, and awareness activities throughout the day. The event featured interactive sessions such as yoga and Zumba, breast self-check demonstrations, survivor stories, and family-friendly activities — making it a perfect blend of health, happiness, and community connection.
Through this initiative, the Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Visionaries reinforced its dedication to community welfare and health awareness, aligning with Rotary’s Area of Focus: Disease Prevention and Treatment.
