The Rotaract Club of Osmania Medical College held an important planning meeting on 6th January 2026 to review ongoing projects and schedule upcoming activities. The meeting focused mainly on public health, community outreach, and club administration. One of the key decisions was to organize an ISD awareness event under the STREE Programme, aimed at spreading awareness about breast and cervical cancer among college students. Colleges will be contacted, and a preparatory visit to the OBG Department will be arranged to train Rotaractors before the event.
The club also reviewed Silver Strides activities for senior citizens and scheduled a visit to Fatima Old Age Home to conduct Diabetes Awareness and Education. In addition, a SWAT activity was planned at Feroz Gandhi Park, and a Google Form was proposed to collect information on required and preferred vaccines for future health initiatives.
Further, the club discussed internal matters such as the farm stay club event and issuance of membership certificates for the previous year. Overall, the meeting ensured smooth planning, coordination, and execution of impactful service projects.
