Four Rotaract members from the Rotaract Club of Osmania Medical College participated in the flagship Youth Exchange Program Payanam 1.0, hosted by Rotaract District 2982, from 19th to 21st December 2025. The event, organized by the Rotaract Club of Salem Metropolis, Tamil Nadu, featured participation from 10 Rotary International districts, making it a large-scale inter-district youth exchange initiative. The four Rotaractors who represented our club were RTR Srujana, RTR Lekhana, RTR Vaishnavi, and RTR Vishal.
During the program, the participants explored the rich local culture of Tamil Nadu, experienced traditional cuisines, and engaged in meaningful interactions with Rotaractors from various regions. The exchange promoted fellowship, leadership development, and cultural understanding, while also providing an enjoyable and memorable experience.
A major highlight of Payanam 1.0 was the Letterhead Exchange Program, through which a total of 14 letterheads were exchanged. These included exchanges with Rotaract Club of Soto, Rotaract Club of Hinduja College, Rotaract Club of Saint Peter’s Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Rotaract Club of Chandigarh, Rotaract Club of KLE CBALC (sponsored by Rotary Club of Belgium), Rotaract Club of Trinity Institute Dwarka, Rotaract Club of Delhi Dynamic Leaders, Rotaract Club of KC College, Rotaract Club of Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Rotaract Club of Mumbai Nova, and Rotaract Club of Pune Mid-East, along with three other clubs.
