Mega E Waste Cleanliness drive

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) conducted a two-day e-waste collection drive on January 12 and 13 as part of its efforts to promote sustainable e-waste management. Under this initiative, Bankatlal Badruka College for Information Technology (BBCIT) in association with Rotaract club of BBCIT handed over electronic scrap to GHMC, actively supporting the city’s environmental conservation goals.

The programme was headed by GHMC Deputy Commissioner Shri Maruthi Dhivakar garu

The initiative aimed at ensuring the safe disposal of electronic waste and raising awareness about responsible e-waste management. The organizers emphasized that such collaborative efforts between educational institutions and civic bodies are essential to keep the city clean and contribute towards a greener and more sustainable planet.
