The Step Up Program was a structured mentor–mentee initiative conducted for the 2024 MBBS batch, with Rotaract Club members serving as mentors 🤝. Understanding that MBBS is academically demanding and mentally stressful, this program was designed to guide juniors, reduce their anxiety, and help them adapt smoothly to medical college life 🩺📚.
A total of 75 students actively participated in the program. The mentors provided continuous academic and emotional support by sharing important PDFs, reference books, study resources, and offering practical guidance on exam strategies, time management, and effective study techniques 📝✨. Beyond academics, mentors also addressed stress, self-doubt, and fear of failure, helping mentees build confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset 💪🧠.
Through regular interactions, open communication, and peer support, the program created a safe and encouraging environment where students felt heard and supported. As a result, all 75 mentees successfully passed their examinations with very good scores 🎉 and emerged more confident, motivated, and mentally prepared to face future academic challenges.
The Step Up Program not only strengthened mentor–mentee bonds but also fostered leadership, teamwork, and a culture of mutual growth 🌟.
Encouraged by its success, Phase-2 of the Step Up Program will soon be conducted for the 2025 MBBS batch, extending the same guidance and support to the next generation of medical students 🚀💙.
