EGGATHON 2026 was a large-scale humanitarian initiative jointly organized by the Rotary and Rotaract Club of Secunderabad on 26th January 2026, embodying the true spirit of service and community welfare. Conducted across more than 26 locations, the initiative successfully facilitated the distribution of over 10,000 eggs to various orphanages, with the objective of improving child nutrition and promoting healthy growth.
The event was graced by the presence of esteemed Guests of Honour, IPDG Sharath Choudhary K and Sri Nerella Malyadri, whose support and encouragement added significance to the program. More than 15 Rotaract clubs actively participated, making EGGATHON 2026 a collaborative and impactful effort.
Among the participating clubs, the Rotaract Club of Osmania Medical College made a noteworthy contribution. Members of the club actively volunteered in the distribution process and also personally contributed towards the donations. As future healthcare professionals, the members strongly understood the importance of nutrition in child development, making their involvement both purposeful and impactful.
Overall, EGGATHON 2026 stood as a powerful example of unity, compassion, and collective service, reinforcing Rotary and Rotaract’s commitment to uplifting underprivileged children.
