The primary objective of Suraksha Bandhan 2.0 was to generate sustainable funds to support menstrual hygiene initiatives for underprivileged girl children. The project aimed not only at fundraising but also at creating awareness among the general public about the importance of menstrual health, dignity, and access to basic hygiene products.
Additionally, the project focused on:
Sensitizing society toward menstrual hygiene as a fundamental right
Encouraging community participation in socially responsible causes
Strengthening inter-club collaboration for higher outreach and impact
Creating a financially accountable model where every contribution directly translated into service outcomes
The project was executed over two consecutive days at high-footfall public locations to maximize visibility and engagement.
Day 1: Indira Park, Domalguda
Day 2: Dogs Park, Khairatabad
Members actively interacted with the public, explaining the cause and purpose behind the initiative. Symbolic threads and engagement activities were used to emotionally connect donors with the cause, emphasizing protection, care, and social responsibility.
Clear communication regarding fund utilization was maintained, ensuring transparency and donor trust. Coordination between both collaborating clubs enabled smooth execution, effective crowd handling, and systematic fund collection.
