The objective of Gift of Education – Continues was to personally support deserving students from underprivileged backgrounds by removing financial barriers to education through direct member contributions. The initiative aimed to motivate academic excellence, encourage consistent performance, and create a culture of merit-based encouragement while fostering long-term educational continuity.
Execution
Rotaractors collectively contributed funds from their own personal resources to support selected beneficiaries. Financial assistance was provided only after students demonstrated good academic performance, ensuring merit-based accountability and responsible use of funds. Payments were made directly toward educational expenses such as school fees, books, or academic requirements, ensuring transparency and preventing misuse. The project was designed as an ongoing initiative, with members tracking academic progress and continuing support based on performance.
Impact
The project enabled deserving students to continue their education without financial disruption while reinforcing the value of hard work and academic discipline.
