EGGATHON 2026 is a high-impact community nutrition initiative focused on supporting vulnerable populations through sustained nutritional support. The project is organized by the Rotary Club of Secunderabad, with active support from the Rotaract Club of Secunderabad, under the Rotary Egg Bank – Matching Grant Project model.
As part of this initiative, ₹30,000 was raised by Rotaract, which was matched with ₹50,000 by the Rotary Club of Secunderabad, significantly amplifying the scale and reach of the project. These funds were utilized to procure and distribute protein-rich eggs to orphanages, old age homes, cancer hospitals, homes for the disabled, hospice centers, and schools/hostels.
Scheduled on 26th January – Republic Day, EGGATHON 2026 represents collective service, leadership, and collaboration. The project not only addresses nutritional gaps but also provides Rotaractors with hands-on service experience, leadership exposure, and meaningful engagement with Rotarians—turning contributions into measurable community impact.
