The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East conducted Republic Juniors – Celebrating the Spirit of the Republic on 26th January 2026, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at MPPS School, Miyapur, marking the 77th Republic Day with pride.
The celebration began with flag hoisting, followed by inspiring dance performances and self-written speeches by the students. Our members also participated in the prize distribution for sports competitions conducted earlier by the school.
As part of the initiative, we supported the school with a year’s worth of essential stationery—including maps, pens, A4 sheets, markers, dusters, staplers, threads, and more—worth ₹6,000/-, arranged through a donor. This support was especially meaningful as the school receives limited government funding for day-to-day needs.
To engage the children creatively, we conducted tricolour chart-colouring activities using handprints to form the Indian flag, followed by chocolate distribution, making the celebration joyful and interactive.
