The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East successfully conducted the Dental Buddies Camp – Happy Teeth, Happy Kids on 7th February 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, at ZPHS Doddialwal, Subhash Nagar.
The camp was conducted with the support of Dr. Shalini from Dr. Teeth Care Dental Clinic, who carried out dental check-ups for around 250 children. Along with the check-ups, children were guided on simple and effective dental hygiene practices, helping them build healthy habits from a young age.
Dental kits were distributed to all beneficiaries, with toothpaste and tongue cleaners contributed by our club, while toothbrushes were sponsored by Unnati Charitable Trust. Our members actively interacted with the children and provided practical awareness sessions in an engaging and friendly manner.
A total of 8 members volunteered for the event, contributing 30 volunteer hours. During the visit, we also interacted with the school headmaster, understood the school’s needs, and explored possibilities for future programs and infrastructure support.
