The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East conducted a Pad Donation Drive on 12th February 2026, at 8:30 PM, at Prem Seva Sadan Girls Orphanage, Hayath Nagar, Hyderabad.
This initiative was organized to fulfil a last-minute service request from a sponsor who wished to celebrate their birthday through a meaningful act of service. Despite the short notice, the club ensured smooth coordination and execution of the drive.
As part of the initiative, we donated 1,200 sanitary pads worth ₹5,000/-, supporting menstrual hygiene and well-being for the girls at the orphanage. Additionally, cakes and chocolates worth ₹1,000/- were distributed.
The celebration included a cake-cutting ceremony at the orphanage, making the birthday truly special. As a token of gratitude, the children warmly sang birthday wishes for the sponsor, creating a heartfelt and memorable moment.
This service initiative was efficiently handled and coordinated by our Director – Community Service, Rtr. Kiran Reddy, ensuring timely execution despite the last-minute nature of the requirement.
The sponsor expressed immense happiness and satisfaction in being able to celebrate their special day through service.
