The Rotaract Club of Apollo Medical College visited Thara Orphanage on 21st December 2025 to spread joy, warmth, and festive cheer during the Christmas season. Our visit was filled with enthusiasm, compassion, and meaningful interaction, as we spent the morning engaging with the children through games, sports, and creative activities.
Members played outdoor sports with the children, set up an art station that they thoroughly enjoyed, and organized mini games that kept everyone excited and involved. We also brought donations including educational books, toys, games, new clothes, caps, and sports equipment such as footballs. In addition, the club funded and served lunch to the children, making the experience more personal and memorable.
Beyond the activities, we spent time talking to the children about our journey in medicine, encouraging them to dream big and believe in the possibility of becoming doctors and professionals of their choice. The warmth, curiosity, and happiness of the children made the visit truly special.
