The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East successfully conducted Blue Beyond Borders in collaboration with Rotaract Club of ITE CC, Singapore on 27th July 2025 at Ameenpur Lake.
This beach/lake cleaning drive aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and actively contribute to a cleaner, safer community space. Volunteers gathered early in the morning and participated in a detailed briefing on safety measures and task allocation before starting the clean-up.
With the support of ENY Organization, our members worked diligently to remove waste from around the lake premises. A total of 136 kg of waste was collected and responsibly handed over to GHMC for proper disposal. The event showcased the collective effort and commitment of members toward environmental sustainability and fostering cross-border collaboration.
A total of 9 members participated in the drive, contributing 27 volunteer hours. The initiative not only created a visible impact on the local environment but also strengthened bonds between participants and promoted the Rotary spirit of service above self.
