The Rotaract Club of Secunderabad, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Secunderabad, successfully organized Fundraising Annaprasadham 2.0 on 31st August 2025 at Sitarama Colony, Uppal, as part of its initiative to promote sustainability during the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
The event witnessed the participation of 600+ individuals in the Annadhanam (community meal), emphasizing eco-friendly practices and social responsibility. The club replaced plastic plates and glasses with eco-friendly leaf plates, handcrafted by individuals who have partially recovered from mental health challenges — supporting both environmental and humanitarian causes.
All proceeds from the fundraiser were directed towards girl child development initiatives, aligning with Rotaract’s mission of service and empowerment.
The event also featured engaging games and activities such as Tambola, Dandiya, Sketch the Idol, and Ganesha Aarti Singalong, fostering fun, fellowship, and festive spirit among participants.
