The Rotaract Club of St. Peter’s Engineering College organized a thoughtful community outreach program on the 8th day of the 9-Day Durga Ma celebrations, dedicated to Saraswati Mata, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The event took place on 29th September 2025 at Ambedkar Nagar, Chintal Colony, near Durga Ma Temple.
As part of this initiative, our club members distributed books and pens to the children attending the Durga Ma Puja. These children, who actively participate in the temple’s devotional and cultural activities, received the study materials with immense happiness and appreciation.
The purpose of this drive was to encourage education, nurture curiosity, and motivate young minds to continue their learning journey with confidence. Conducted in the spirit of Basic Education and Literacy, the event emphasized the importance of access to educational resources and the role of community support in shaping a brighter future.
Through this initiative, our club not only spread the message of learning but also strengthened the bond between culture, service, and education — truly reflecting Rotary’s vision of empowering communities through knowledge.
