Humanitarian Day – Gratitude Tree

The Rotaract Club Celebrated World Humanitarian Day with a creative and meaningful
initiative — the Gratitude Tree set up in the Admin Block. Students, faculty, and staff were
invited to write thank-you notes and pin them to the tree, turning it into a beautiful symbol of
appreciation and kindness. This activity took place on 26th August 2025, and it encouraged
everyone to pause for a moment, reflect on the people who make a difference in their lives, and express gratitude in a simple yet impactful way. The initiative not only brought warmth and positivity across campus but also reminded us of the true essence of humanity and community.

The Gratitude Tree activity received an enthusiastic response from the Woxsen community and beyond. One of the special aspects of the event was that we were able to involve students from outside Woxsen University, who also contributed by writing their letters of gratitude. Within the campus, both faculty and students showed great interest by actively participating throughout the day. Their overwhelming response led to the Gratitude Tree being completely filled, transforming it into a vibrant display of appreciation and kindness. This outcome reflected not only the success of the initiative but also the strong sense of connection and community the event was able to create.
