As part of our medical camp outreach, we successfully conducted a vital Hypertension Awareness and Screening Initiative. Attendees received comprehensive counselling on hypertension—understanding its causes, recognizing its significant long-term health risks, and learning practical strategies for prevention and management. A core focus was placed on the critical importance of regular blood pressure monitoring as a first line of defense.
In addition to education, we provided on-the-spot screenings. A key component of our activity was a comparative analysis: blood pressure readings were taken both manually by our trained volunteers and using automated machines. This allowed us to demonstrate the efficiency of modern devices while discussing their reliability and importance for consistent at-home monitoring.
The event was highly engaging, with many insightful questions from the community. We are confident that this initiative has equipped attendees with valuable knowledge to take proactive charge of their cardiovascular health.
