The Rotaract Club of Villa Marie Degree College, in collaboration with the Department of Library & Information Centre, successfully organized an Intercollegiate Book Review Competition aimed at celebrating the joy of reading and encouraging literary expression among students.
The event provided a platform for young women from various colleges to share their perspectives on books that had inspired or moved them. Participants were asked to bring a physical copy of their chosen book, be it a novel, short story collection, or biography and present an 8-minute review highlighting their understanding, emotional connection, and key takeaways from the work
The event was a resounding success, fostering not only intellectual growth but also a sense of community among readers.
