On 17th September, we conducted our first professional development session with the Rotaract members, marking a meaningful beginning to their journey with the organization. Unlike our service-focused initiatives, this session emphasized the leadership aspect of Rotaract, drawing inspiration from Peter Drucker’s Managing Oneself. Members were encouraged to reflect on their strengths, values, and personal stories while engaging in interactive discussions that highlighted the importance of self-awareness as the foundation of leadership.
The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, allowing members to gradually open up and bond with each other. It was heartening to see genuine efforts to connect, share experiences, and begin building a community rooted in trust and purpose. Faculty and mentors from our sponsor club Rotary Club of Lake District, Moinabad added further depth by reinforcing the learning outcomes.
Overall, the session was a positive step towards shaping not just impactful service, but also personal growth and leadership within our Rotaract team. More Photos https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cSL9wmcCQWX7SiLuX4cgoBym18lEp7vQ
