Run for Mental Health

This past weekend, in a powerful display of community and commitment to mental wellness, our Rotaract club proudly partnered with the Leo Club of Hyderabad Medicos for a meaningful initiative. Together, we participated in the marathon presented by Kaveri University, not just as runners, but as advocates for a crucial cause: “Medicos Against Exam-Related Stress.”

United in purpose, our combined team successfully completed the 5K route, with every member crossing the finish line in under 40 minutes. The camaraderie and shared determination fueled us through every step, turning the run into a celebration of collective achievement and resilience.

The event was more than a race; it was a moving, collective stride toward breaking the stigma around mental health pressures faced by medical students. By running together, we aimed to champion physical activity as a vital and accessible outlet for stress relief, sending a strong message of solidarity and support to all students navigating academic pressures.

We are immensely proud of this collaboration and the powerful statement we made on the track. It was a joyful, impactful reminder that when we move together, we can run not just toward a finish line, but toward a healthier, more supportive community.
