JUST A MINUTE

Rules:

1. Topics will be announced on the spot at the venue.

2. Each participant will be given 1 minute of preparation time before speaking.

3. Participants must speak continuously for exactly one minute on the given topic.

5. Use of notes, reference materials, mobile phones, or electronic gadgets is strictly

prohibited.

6. Participants must stop speaking immediately once the time limit is completed.

7.Participants will be notified with a short bell at 50 seconds and a long bell at 60

seconds.

8. Late entries will not be entertained once the competition has commenced.

9. The decision of the judging panel shall be final and binding.

10. Participants are expected to maintain decorum and discipline throughout the

event.

Content Relevance & Quality- 30 marks

Fluency & Continuity- 25 marks

Clarity of Thought- 20 marks

Language & Vocabulary- 15 marks

Confidence & Body Language – 10 marks

JUDGING CRITERIA:

Total – 100 marks

DEBATE

Rules:

1. Team Structure: Each team will consist of four members, with three speakers

participating in any given debate.

2. Side Allocation: Affirmative and Negative sides will be decided immediately prior

to the debate, typically by coin toss or moderator decision.

3. Topic Announcement: The debate topic will be announced 1 day prior to the event.

Once released, topics will not be changed.

4. Debate Format: The debate will follow a formal structure consisting of opening

speeches, rebuttal speeches, and closing speeches. All speeches must follow

assigned time limits.

Opening Speech: 1 min

Rebuttal 1: 1.5 mins

Rebuttal 2: 1.5 mins

Closing speech: 1 min

(Opening and closing should be delivered by the Captain)

5. Time Limits: Strict timing of 20 minutes will be enforced. Warning and final bells

will signal time limits. Exceeding time may result in penalties.

6. Cross Talk & Interruptions: Cross talk is prohibited. Speakers may not interrupt

opponents except during permitted points of information.

7. Conduct & Respect: Debaters must maintain respectful behavior at all times.

Personal attacks, heckling, or disruptive conduct are not allowed.

8. Moderator Authority: The moderator/chair’s rulings on procedure and conduct are

final.

9.Rebuttal Rule: Rebuttals can only be incorporated from the 2nd speaker onwards.

Judging Criteria:

Teams will be assessed on argument quality, rebuttal

effectiveness, clarity, teamwork, and adherence to rules.

Argument quality – 30

Rebuttal effectiveness – 20

Clarity – 20

Teamwork – 20

Total – 100 marks

STORY TELLING

Rules:

1. Prior registration is mandatory.

2. ⁠ Topic will be given two days prior to the event.

3.⁠ Time – 3 minutes.

4. ⁠ Any exceeding time will have impact on score.

5. ⁠ Plagiarism will not be entertained.

6. ⁠ No usage of inappropriate words/ slangs.

7. Deviation from the topic will impact scores.

8. ⁠ No extra time will be given to prepare.

9. ⁠ languages: English, Hindi, Telugu.

10. ⁠ If any props are being used then they can

‘t be shared amongst participants.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

1. Content and originality – 25 marks

SKETCHING

Rules:

1. Prior registration is mandatory.

2. ⁠ The theme will be announced on the spot.

3. ⁠ Participants must strictly adhere to the given theme.

4. ⁠ Any deviation from the theme may lead to disqualification.

5. ⁠ Total time allotted: 2 hours.

6. ⁠ Late submissions will not be accepted.

7. ⁠ Participants must bring their own materials.

Allowed materials:

Pencils (graphite/charcoal)

Erasers, sharpeners

8. Participant name and registration number must be written on the back of the

sheet.

9. Artwork must be original.

10. ⁠ Participants must submit their work within the given time.

Judging criteria:

1. Creativity and originality – 20 marks

2. Relevance to the theme – 30 marks

3. Composition and presentation – 10 marks

4. Technical skill and detailing – 30 marks

5. Overall impact- 10

Total – 100 marks

QUIZ MOVIES

Rules:

1. Each team consists of 2 to 4 members.Each team must be named after unique title decided by the members of the team.

2. Prior registration should be done.

3. No substitutions will be allowed once the quiz begins.

4. Participants must report 15 minutes before the event.

5. 2 rounds will be conducted:

  • General trivia
  • Visual/logic round

6. In case of tie-break, rapid fire will be conducted.

7. Each team will be given 30 seconds to answer.

8. No points will be awarded if the response is not given within the given time.

9. Judges decision is final, and no protests will be entertained after the next question is read.

10. Questions will cover different sports and related competitions and events.

11. All mobile phones and any electronic devices should be submitted prior to the start of the event.

12. Participants are not allowed to discuss with the audience or other teams.

13. Any kind of misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

1. CORRECT ANSWERS CARRY – 20 MARKS

2. WRONG ANSWERS DEDUCT – 5 MARKS

3. PASSED QUESTION CARRY- 5 MARKS

QUIZ GK

Rules:

1. Each team consists of 2 members.Each team must be named after unique title

decided by the members of the team.

(No change in team members after registration)

2. Prior registration is mandatory.

3. Teams must report 15 minutes before the event.

(Late entries will not be permitted)

4. 2 rounds including:

Preliminary (Buzzer).

Final round.

(Rapid Fire round in case of tie)

5. Questions will become harder with progressing rounds.

6. Questions based on General Knowledge, including:

Current Affairs.

Science.

Culture & Heritage.

Economy.

Rotary & Rotaract Awareness.

Each question must be answered within the given time (10 to 15 secs).

Scores once announced are final.

7. Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, or any electronic devices are strictly

prohibited.

8. Use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.

9. Maintain decorum and sportsmanship.

10. No discussion with audience or other teams.

11. Misconduct may result in disqualification.

12. Decisions of the Quiz Master & Organizing Committee are final and binding

Rules:

1. Performance duration: 2–5 minutes.

2. Minimum 2 participants per entry.

3. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your performance.

4. Songs in any language are allowed.

5. Ensure that the lyrics and content are appropriate for all audiences.

6. Music should be submitted or brought in advance in the required format

(MP3/USB).

7. Music should be submitted on or before 21st February 2026 to the given email:

8. Discipline must be maintained throughout the event.

9. Do not argue with the judges; their decisions are final.

10. Props are allowed if safe and declared in advance.

11. Costumes must be appropriate and safe.

12. Exceeding the time limit or showing undisciplined behavior may lead to marks

deduction or disqualification.

PAINTING

Rules:

1. The painting competition will be conducted as a single round within the allotted

time.

2. Themes will be announced on the spot at the venue.

3. Participants must bring their own painting materials (paints, brushes, palette,

water container, etc.).

4. Drawing sheets/canvas will be provided by the organizing committee.

5. Use of reference materials, mobile phones, or electronic gadgets during the

competition is not permitted.

6. Participants must complete their artwork within the given time limit.

7. Late entries will not be allowed once the competition has commenced.

8. The artwork must be original and created only during the competition duration.

9. The judges’ decision will be final and binding.

10. Participants are expected to maintain discipline and cleanliness at the venue.

11. After painting or drawing participants have to explain and justify how that painting

is related to theme.

12.The Participants are required to get there own drawing pads.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

3. Color Usage & Technique – 20 marks

4. Composition & Visual Impact – 15 marks

CASE STUDY COMPETITION

Rules:

1. The case presentation will be conducted as a single round.

2. Topic will be given soon and will be based on current affairs.

3. The presentation must be in the form of a poster-based case presentation.

4. Each team will be given a total of 60 min .

5. Participants must strictly adhere to the allotted time; exceeding the time limit may

result in marks deduction.

6. The poster should clearly include background, key issues, analysis, and conclusion

related to the given current affair.

7. Use of mobile phones, notes, or electronic gadgets during the presentation is not

permitted.

8. The content presented must be original and prepared specifically for this

competition.

9. Any form of plagiarism or incorrect information will lead to disqualification.

10. Late entries will not be entertained once the competition has commenced.

11. Participants are expected to maintain discipline, professionalism, and decorum

throughout the event.

12. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

13.Participants are allowed to use only Paper and Pen/Pencil. THe presentation should

be delivered Vocally.

JUDGING CRITERIA:

1. Understanding of the Current Affair – 25 marks

2. Content Analysis & Critical Thinking – 25 marks

3. Clarity & Organization of Poster Presentation – 20 marks

4. Communication Skills & Confidence – 20 marks

SINGING

Rules:

1. Only solo performances are allowed.

2. No duets or group performances.

3. Languages allowed: Hindi, Telugu and English.

4. Karaoke tracks and instruments can be used.

5. Time limit will be 2-5 mins.

6. Participants are requested not to exceed their time limits.

7. The song choose should be audience friendly.

8. Decision will be taken by the judges and will be considered final.

9. Any inappropriate behavior will be taken into account and reflected into their

respective points.

10. Karoke tracks should be submitted on or before 21st February 2026 to the given

CANVA POSTER MAKING

Rules:

1. Participants must register prior to the workshop to confirm their seat.

2. The workshop will be conducted in online/offline mode as informed by the

organizers.

3. Participants must join on time; late entry may not be permitted.

4. Use of personal devices (laptop/mobile/tablet) is mandatory.

5.The topic will be given on the spot and participants will be given 30 mins of time to

prepare the poster.

6. Any form of misconduct, plagiarism, or disruptive behavior will lead to

disqualification.

7. Participants must strictly follow the instructions given by the mentors/coordinators.

8. Screenshots, recordings, or redistribution of workshop content without permission

are prohibited.

9. The decision of the organizing committee will be final and binding in all matters.

• AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION, EACH PARTICIPANT WILL BE GIVEN A COLOURED CHIT.

• THIS CHIT MUST BE PRESERVED AND PRODUCED DURING THE FUN & FELLOWSHIP AFTERNOON SESSION.

• PARTICIPANTS WILL BE GROUPED INTO TEAMS BASED ON THE COLOURED CHIT.

• ALL ACTIVITIES WILL BE CONDUCTED TEAM-WISE.

• JUDGES’/COORDINATORS’ DECISIONS WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.

ACTIVITY SET 1: HOOK STEP CHALLENGE

• 6–8 MEMBERS FROM EACH TEAM MUST COME FORWARD.

• A SONG WILL BE PLAYED, AND PARTICIPANTS MUST PERFORM THE HOOK STEP OF THE SONG.

• TIME AND SONG SELECTION WILL BE DECIDED BY THE COORDINATORS.

ACTIVITY SET 2: COMPLETE THE SONG LYRICS

• 2 MEMBERS FROM EACH TEAM WILL PARTICIPATE.

• A SONG WILL BE PLAYED AND STOPPED MIDWAY .

• PARTICIPANTS MUST CONTINUE THE CORRECT LYRICS FROM WHERE IT IS PAUSED.

ACTIVITY SET 3: PICTOGRAPHY -GUESS THE MOVIE

THE ENTIRE TEAM MAY PARTICIPATE

ONLY ONE MEMBER AT A TIME IS ALLOWED TO STAND AND GIVE THE ANSWER.

A PICTORIAL CLUE WILL BE SHOWN AND TEAMS MUST GUESS THE CORRECT MOVIE NAME.

NO CROSS TALK BETWEEN TEAMS IS ALLOWED.

WINNING CRITERIA

POINTS WILL BE AWARDED FOR EACH ACTIVITY

THE TEAM WITH THE HIGHEST CUMMULATIVE SCORE AT THE END OF ALL THREE ACTIVITIES

WILL BE DECLARED THE WINNER OF FUN AND FELLOWSHIP .
