As part of the poster making competition for the 2025 batch, the Rotaract Club of Osmania Medical College conducted a Mini Sustainability Quiz to ensure that the theme of the year – Sustainability was actively incorporated into the event. While the main activity focused on Anatomy, the club made a conscious effort to integrate environmental awareness into the academic and creative space.
A total of 250 students were divided into 25 groups of 10 members each, and every group participated in the sustainability quiz. The quiz covered key topics such as environmental protection, sustainable practices, climate responsibility, and resource conservation. The marks obtained in the quiz were added to the overall evaluation, making sustainability an important and meaningful component of the competition.
This initiative helped students realize that sustainability is not separate from their academic or professional lives, but an essential responsibility for everyone. By blending medical education with environmental consciousness, the club successfully promoted holistic learning and responsible thinking among future healthcare professionals.
