Swasthya Seva – A Community Health Camp

The Rotaract Club successfully organized a community health camp titled “Swasthya Seva” at a children’s hospital in Tupran, with the aim of improving access to basic healthcare services for underserved communities.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with around 400 people attending from Tupran and nearby surrounding villages. The initiative focused on providing completely free medical services, ensuring that quality healthcare reached those who needed it the most.

General health check-ups were conducted for all attendees, including blood pressure monitoring, diabetes screening, and other essential diagnostic and scanning procedures. The camp was supported by three experienced doctors from different specialties, offering comprehensive medical consultation. A psychiatrist was also present, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness and support alongside physical well-being.

In addition to consultations and diagnostics, free medicines were distributed to patients based on medical advice, making the camp a holistic healthcare solution for the community. The dedication of the medical professionals and volunteers ensured smooth coordination and patient care throughout the day.

The positive impact, large turnout, and gratitude expressed by the community reaffirmed the need for such initiatives. Encouraged by the success of Swasthya Seva, we are keen and committed to organizing this health camp again in the future, reaching even more people and continuing our mission of service above self.
