The Resin Room

Under the vibrant banner of Rotaract District 3150’s flagship initiative, the ‘Rotaract Skill Carnival’, the Rotaract Club of St.Ann’s College For Women successfully hosted the highly anticipated “Resin Room” workshop on Sunday, 21st September, starting at 1:00 PM. The event was held at the St.Ann’s College For Women campus, which quickly transformed into a hub of creative exploration and technical learning. The workshop’s core motive : to empower Rotaractors with the tangible, versatile skill of resin art, allowing them to engage in hands-on mastery and pure self-expression.

The hands-on environment was electric, giving participants the foundational and technical knowledge needed to handle resin safely and effectively while encouraging personal artistic flair. The practical session focused specifically on creating high-demand customizable products like intricate jewelry, personalized keychains, and unique bookmarks.

Every table buzzed with activity as attendees expertly mixed colors, embedded delicate elements, and watched their personalized treasures take shape. This dedicated focus on customization ensured that every individual left not just with a new skill, but with a unique, self-crafted artifact they could be proud of.

The success of the event was immediately evident in the overwhelming turnout. Registrations soared past the 75+ mark, underscoring the keen interest in specialized, practical skill-based learning within the District. This fantastic participation was further amplified by the active presence of esteemed members from the District Council and various other Clubs, significantly reinforcing a strong spirit of inter-club unity and collective development under the District’s Skill Carnival initiative.

“Resin Room” was a resounding success, perfectly demonstrating Rotaract’s commitment to blending valuable skill acquisition with community fellowship.
