On 26th July 2025, the Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East conducted its first community service event of the term, “Viksah Granthah – A Gift of Growth”, at Srimadh Dayanand Vedh Vidhyalayam (Gurukul) from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
The event focused on supporting education and promoting environmental awareness. Activities included:
Book Donation: 110 books distributed (2 books per child)
Exam Pads & Stationery Pouches: 55 sets distributed (1 per student)
Tree Plantation: 10 plants of various kinds planted along with the Gurukul students
A big thank you to every member who contributed despite the rain, making the event a meaningful experience for all. Special appreciation to Harshit for helping with tree selection, Jashwanth for donating books, and Jayanth for providing exam pads and stationery pouches.
