The Rotaract Club of GNITS organized an educational field initiative titled “Voices of the Market”, aimed at understanding and documenting the everyday experiences of farmers, vendors, customers, and officials at Rythu Bazaar. 🌾
As part of this project, members interacted with local shopkeepers, sellers, agriculture officers, and the complaint cell staff to gain firsthand insights into the challenges faced in marketing agricultural produce — from fluctuating prices and transportation issues to customer expectations and support mechanisms.
The collected interviews and observations were compiled into a short documentary, created to raise awareness among students and the public about the realities of grassroots commerce and the importance of supporting local farmers.
This event not only served as a platform for experiential learning but also aligned with Rotary’s Area of Focus – Basic Education and Literacy and Economic and Community Development, by promoting education through real-world exposure and by amplifying the voices of small-scale entrepreneurs More Photos https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1qBB3e3paPK3SA70xLUXdvXwQ9QSP2rLM
