RRR 🀝 IIT- Hyderabad

The RRR – Respond, Rescue, Revive πŸš‘ initiative was successfully conducted on 24th January at IIT Hyderabad, with the aim of empowering students with essential basic life-saving skills 🩺. This hands-on training program focused on preparing young adults to respond effectively during medical emergencies and potentially save lives ❀️.

Approximately 800 students from IIT Hyderabad πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ actively participated in the program, which was systematically divided into three interactive stations for better understanding and skill development.
Station 1 ❄️πŸ”₯ covered medical emergencies such as hypothermia, heat stroke, electric shock, burns, and poisoning.
Station 2 🩹🦴 focused on trauma and injury management, including wound care, fracture management, application of splints and slings, and management of dog bite and snake bite.
Station 3 🚨❀️ addressed critical emergencies like epistaxis, vertigo, seizures, choking, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Each station included live demonstrations and hands-on practice 🀝, ensuring active participation and effective learning. The students showed great enthusiasm throughout the sessions and expressed their appreciation for the practical and engaging approach 😊. The trainers also found the experience rewarding, knowing that the participants are now better prepared to respond confidently in emergencies.
