Mitti-se-Mitratha

On August 26, 2025, the Rotaract Club of BVRITH turned the festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi into a powerful movement for environmental responsibility. Through a strategic partnership with Olive Mithai Shop, 20 dedicated volunteers facilitated a “zero-cost” initiative where members registered on the shop’s website to secure handcrafted clay idols.
These eco-friendly Ganeshas were then distributed to the Principal and Staff, serving as a catalyst for educating the campus on the hazards of Plaster of Paris. By seamlessly weaving together cultural tradition and ecological awareness without any financial expenditure, the club proved that mindful celebration and community bonding can go hand in hand, protecting our water bodies one clay idol at a time.
