We, the Rotaract Club, proudly organized a Cancer Awareness Camp at Secret Heart School, Secunderabad, in collaboration with Basavatarakam Hospital, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The program featured a comprehensive Cancer Screening Camp aimed at creating awareness about early detection, regular check-ups, and preventive care that made upto 150+ Beneficiaries
Participants received guidance on identifying early warning signs, understanding risk factors, and adopting healthy lifestyle practices to reduce the risk of cancer. The camp provided a safe and supportive environment where students, teachers, and community members could openly discuss concerns, ask questions, and clarify misconceptions about cancer.
By combining education with hands-on screening, the camp promoted proactive healthcare, encouraged open communication, reduced fear, and strengthened the community’s commitment to health and well-being.
