The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East successfully conducted “Closet of Kindness – Open Your Closet, Open Your Heart” on 5th October 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Brigade Citadel, Moti Nagar, Hyderabad.
The event was carried out in collaboration with Goonj, focusing on collecting reusable clothing to support underprivileged communities. With enthusiastic participation from the gated community residents, the drive resulted in the collection of over 700 kg of clothes, which were handed over to Goonj for further processing and distribution.
A total of 40 donors participated in this initiative. 7 volunteers from our club and 3 volunteers from Goonj supported the activity, ensuring smooth coordination throughout the event.
