The Rotaract Club of Hyderabad East successfully conducted the PD event “The Great Rotaractor’s Kitchen Challenge – The 90 Minute Chef Competition” on 31st January 2026 at DB Cooking Studio.
The event brought together 21 participants, who were divided into 3 teams and challenged to prepare three dishes within 90 minutes — Basil Spaghetti Pasta (Continental), Pulihora (Indian), and Pancakes. The competition was designed to test creativity, time management, teamwork, and hygiene practices.
What made the event special was the enthusiastic participation of members, including those with little or no prior cooking experience, who actively took part and delivered impressive results. The judging was based on taste, presentation, hygiene, and overall teamwork, making it a well-rounded and engaging challenge.
A special thanks to Chef Diksha for her guidance throughout the session and for making the experience enriching and enjoyable. The winning team received a gift hamper, and participation certificates were provided by DB Cooking Studio to all participants.
